Madinat Jumeirah Living

Madinat Jumeirah translates as 'Jumeirah City', named because of the great variety in this magnificent area located on the coastal part of Jumeirah, southwest of the Burj Al-Arab hotel, Jumeirah Beach and Wild Wadi Water Park. The Madinat Jumeirah Complex covers 40 hectares, which became home to three five-star hotels, two villa complexes, the Souk Madinat market and more than 50 restaurants and bars. Here you can visit the Madinat Arena outdoor amphitheater and the magnificent Madinat Theatre banquet and conference hall. Within this ‘city’ there are 5 tennis courts, the Talise Spa center, a sports and wellness center with a climbing wall and a beach.

The idea of the project belongs to the Jumeirah International company. The development of Madinat Jumeirah Complex started in 2000 and the first hotel, Mina A’Salam was already implemented in 2003. Designers used a sand colour palette throughout the furnishings and fittings sto recreate an Old Arabian town in an oasis. A 5-km-long water channel runs through the destination, where visitors can ride on traditional abra boats. According to the master plan, the pedestrian-oriented area creates an atmosphere of a closed and cozy community. To get there, you can take the number 81 bus or a 5 minute taxi from the Mall of the Emirates metro station. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is a 25-minute drive and Al Maktoum Airport (DWC) is 40 minutes away.
