Al Arjan

Arjan is a freehold, mixed-use community development located at the junction of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Umm Suqeim Road (D63), just north of Dubai Motor City.

Overview

Arjan was launched in 2006 as part of the expansive DubaiLand project, initially envisioning a large collection of theme parks. However, like many other projects, it was put on hold in 2010 due to the global financial crisis. Construction has since resumed, with nearly all buildings under development nearing completion. As of September 2020, Arjan boasted 48 completed buildings and 37 more under development. While new projects have been sparse, numerous plots remain vacant. The road network is nearly fully developed.

History

The revival of Arjan saw significant milestones, including the opening of the Dubai Miracle Garden in 2013 and the Butterfly Park in 2015, adding to its appeal as a vibrant community.
